What is a Mind-Body Wellness Coach?
I've been professionally trained in mind-body practices such as mindfulness and meditation and have been certified in several health and fitness modalities including yoga, stress resiliency, personal training, and Pilates. I am certified as a Life Coach through the Transformation Academy.
As a Life Coach, I can help you build confidence, work through obstacles, encourage you to gain self-awareness, foster accountability and so much more.
I coach all clients through a mindfulness lens and with a mind-body approach. What does this mean? Mindfulness is a practice that is based on the principles of: acceptance, letting go, a beginner's mindset, non-judgement and more. With my training, professional experience and style, I help coach the “whole” of a person.
Wellness and fitness are only two aspects of how I help you. As a Mind-Body Wellness coach, I specialize in building your body image, helping you feel free around food and enjoying fitness without all the pressure, "shoulds" and the scale, Are you in?
How often do you meet with your private 1:1 coaching clients?
All clients have different needs, wants, goals, budgets and lifestyles therefore how often we meet for sessions is determined by many variables. During our initial consultation, we discuss our schedules and availability and decide together on the optimal session schedule.

What can I expect from your coaching services?
Taking the step to hire a coach is an important one and for some a big one that might be exciting and overwhelming at the same time. When you hire me as your coach we become a team.
We start by meeting for a consultation where we have a comprehensive conversation to get to know each other to ensure we are a good fit for this process, discuss current lifestyle, your goals, needs, wants, etc. Together we review our schedules and availability to review options for coaching sessions. Then we work together to set you up for success by building and updating your habits to work for you instead of against you.
All the information you get is specifically tailored to you, your situation, and your life!
We work together over a series of sessions where I guide you based on the package you decided on that is tailored to your specific goals. As we move through your sessions we adjust as necessary, progress your learning to keep you challenged in the right ways for you and ensure that your enjoyment & desired outcomes are of the paramount focus.
Should you choose fitness coaching and/or mindful movement sessions, I guide you through breathing methods, alignment, technique, form, pacing, and educate you on the mind-body connection and other appropriate topics related to your specific goals. Sessions are choice-based, meaning you choose your level of participation based on your energy and comfort level, you are in control of your body and choices at all times.
Where do you offer your services?
I offer my services in the Town of Cornwall in a community building located on tobacco-free grounds and the building is accessible and follows a scent-free policy.

What is online coaching?
Online/email coaching is a great addition and perfect complement to your coaching or mindful movement sessions to ensure you stay inspired, on "track" and give you an opportunity to ask me questions on a regular basis in between your sessions. I offer monthly online/email coaching that gives you unlimited email access to me to ask questions, reach out when you feel unmotivated, are presented with obstacles, and anything else you need my assistance with to support your mind-body path*.
The investment is $147.00 to be paid prior to the 30-day start date by e-transfer. I'll give you all the details about payment should you decide to move forward with email coaching.
This service is exclusive to both existing & past clients as well as group fitness participants.
